“This is an "old school" facility. However, the motel was maintained well and everything worked. It is clean but a little "dog-eared" here and there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I slept very well. It was quiet. I enjoyed the view and the grassy area above the quay wall with Lake Superior lapping at the wall. The parking spots were wide and roomy. I might go back in the fall.”

“The owner was very kind, the room was clean, and it had a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and hairdryer. The bed was comfortable.”

“The place was nice, the check in was easy. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there was a weird smell upon entering the cabin and also one of the complimentary bottles of soap seemed opened and re used. Lastly there was like 3 flies just chillin inside on the large living area window. Other than that I do appreciate the cabins, they're cute and cozy I do wish they let people smoke out on the porch chairs provided. The rooms where clean so ill give them that for sure.”

“Not your ordinary bed-and-breakfast, this place was exceptional! It is true that they stopped serving breakfast quite some time ago, but the kitchen is fully equipped for anything that you may want to make, so make sure that you bring the bacon and eggs along. The dining and kitchen areas are shared with one other guest room, so if you are looking for a private getaway, this may not be a good fit for you, but I enjoyed the beautiful living space and my interactions with the hosts, which reside...

“The staff was great but the owner should put more money into their investment. Maintenance is lacking and amenities were very worn (microwave, coffee maker, hot water heater- rusty hot water, furniture). The tv is about 12 inches. If you are looking for a place to sleep it’s not so bad- but if you want a hot shower with clean water this is not the place for you.”

“This is a cute place to stay if you’re only planning on being there for a few days, there is not much around the area and it’s more of a small stop you make if you have to rather than a longer stay. It was super clean and at first the staff were great at communicating, later we tried contacting the staff to checkout early or to ask for other amenities and were left for days without a response, so very disappointed with their “24/7 available communication,” because it didn’t seem like they were...
